The spirits of Utah’s Park City
Park City, founded by silver prospectors in the late 1860s, and reputed to be the best watering hole in Utah, has a brand new distillery. The High West Distillery, located at exactly 7000 feet above sea-level in Park City (the only ski-in distillery in the world) crafts spirits in small batches and uses only the best quality ingredients and a personal touch.
Two products are available at present: Rendezvous Whiskey, winner of the Double Gold San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2008 and named after the famous Mountain Man Rendezvous of the 1800s, and Vodka 7000’, which originates high in Utah’s Rocky Mountains as free-range snowmelt naturally filtered in deep rock aquifers. This produces great tasting water with a well-balanced mineral content. The heart of Vodka 7000' comes from oats.
