Cruising down the river

Chicago river cruises to showcase the city’s architectural treasures are operating once again organized by the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) and Chicago’s First Lady Cruises. The 90-minute cruise with commentary highlights 53 historic and architecturally significant sites including the Trump Tower, the Wrigley Building, the Tribune Tower, the Sears Tower, Marina City, the Chicago Tribune printing press plant and Goose Island.

The 2009 tour will run from May 2 to November 21, tickets are priced at $28 (£20 approx.) per person (Mon-Fri) or $32 (£22 approx.) per person (Sat/Sun/holidays). All tours depart from Riverside Gardens, Michigan Ave. and Wacker Dr. (Southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge).
